HuL Gul From Netherland!

This week we got to draw a piece of paper out of a box and that would have a random country on it. With that country you had to do some research about it and write some instructions on a skill or game from that country. Next week we will be picking a type of food and making it then bringing it to school so there will be a whole assortment of food for everyone to try from all over the world but I will only be sharing my instructions maybe next week will be about the food. :)

Here is my instructions on how to play Hul Gul:

How to play Dutch Hul Gul

Materials:

*Buttons or any large quantity of small objects.

*People to play with ( Any amount of people except by yourself)

1. Gather buttons
2. Give each player 10 buttons
3. Each player places any amount of buttons up to 10 in their hand.
4. Player 1 then holds out their hand face down with the buttons in hand so the other player(s) can’t see.
5. Player 1 now asks another player (Player 2) how many buttons do I have in my hand.
6. If player 2 guess’s right then player 1 has to give player 2 the amount of buttons they had in their hand then you go on to ask player 2 the questions. Key: When gaining any amount of points your points total can go to any number but you can only hold up to 10 buttons in your hand.
7. If player 2 guesses wrong then they have to give player 1 the amount of buttons that is the difference between each of their hands so you subtract the amount of buttons in their hand and whatever the answer is then player 2 has to give player 1 that amount of buttons. Key: When you are giving the other player a certain amount of buttons e.g you give them 4 buttons and you started with 10 then you can only put up to 6 buttons in your hand. 
8. After player 2 guesses whether or not they got it wrong or right player 1 now asks the questions.
9. Now repeat back and forth if there are 2 players or go round in a circle if more people playing.

Examples:

Player 2 Guesses Right:

Player 1: 6 Buttons In Hand

Player 2: 4 Buttons In Hand

Player 2: Guesses 6 Buttons

Player 1: Gives Player 2, 6 Buttons

Player 2 Guesses Wrong:

Player 1: 6 Buttons In Hand

Player 2: 4 Buttons In Hand

Player 2: Guesses 2 Buttons

Player 2: Gives 2 Buttons

Player 2 gives player 1 2 buttons because the difference between their hand is 2 in other words it would look like this: 6-4=2
