Last week three student teachers came in to learn and help out.There was Miss Kippenberger, Miss Trotman and Mr Williams.  My home base's student teacher is Miss Kippenberger but we call her Miss K. Miss K is a kind teacher and all the student teachers have been so fun, their like our real teachers. Sadly Miss K has to leave next Wednesday but Miss Trotman and Mr Williams is staying till the end of the term. Have you ever had student teachers?

On Tuesday and Thursdayqa we did Canta Math in our class. Canta Math is when you get into groups and the teacher gives you the first question and once you work it out the runner takes it to the teacher and checks it. If you get it right you move on to the next question and if you get it wrong you have to keep trying. But you  do have the option to pass it. Have you ever done canta math?

Today was Book Character day. Book Character day is when you come dressed up as a book character and the person best dressed gets a prize. I dressed up as Mary Poppins and my friend dressed up as a Unicorn. before lunchtime we did a parade of every class walking around the court.One of my other friends dressed up as Maleficent and won out of our hub.

In school we have been working on Creative Writing. Creative Writing is writing a story while using your imagination. Here is a sample of mine. “Sarah, come on look at the sea.”Sarah's sister shouted. Sarah runs fast but the ship stops and she tumbles over the side. Sarah slips and falls from the boat Into the depths of the Ocean sinking. As she plummets into the freezing water she clenches her eyes shut while tasting the salt in her mouth.At first she squirms about and tries to hold herself up, but then she realizes there is no hope and it is not worth living the moment so she lets herself sink.Sarah feels the rocks scraping against her leg and smells seaweed.

This week on Monday we participated  in Top Team activities. Top Team is challenges that build up your team building skills. There were 10 challenges but we didn't do two of them. My team was number 11. My favourite challenge was when you have to carry a bucket of water over your head and you go over the obstical and if you drop it you loose.

On Wednesday night the choir went to the Music Festival. The Music Festival was so fun with all my friends by my side. On Wednesday morning, we had a practice that went for 3 long hours! The actual show was that night, so my voice really hurt after all those tunes!

On Wednesdays we do Arts rotations. The theme is different countries.The choices were: Dance,Music and Visual Art. Me and my friends did dance and we were learning Hawaiian dance. First we watched a video of a girl doing Hawaiian dance.Next we got into groups and made up a Hawaiian dance together and then performed in front of the other groups. Next Wednesday we are doing a Japanese fan dance and I can't wait. Have you done a Hawaiian dance before?

This is what I have been working on for The Game Of Awesome.The Game Of Awesome is a card game, there is a theme that someone chooses and others get as many cards as they want. The cards have random things on them.The person chooses the best card and you have to write a story about it. As you hear the voices of a million people screaming you can make out a faint, almost silent voice in all of the noise, a beautiful calming lullaby, is floating along with the cries of women and men. As you walk closer to a random building you can hear the voice get louder but never till its normal volume it's as if the voice is permanently stuck like that. You feel something tugging on the back of your shirt like it’s warning you to turn back now. You turn around and there's nothing there but your shirt is still tugging behind you, you turn your head back to the front and you see a girl with long black hair and her head tilted all the way forward so you can’t see her face.You slo

Team Building In school we have been doing team building we have done Paper Chains,Paper Cups,Make The Highest Tower and Stretcher.  For the Paper Chains we got sorted into groups by the teachers we got a big piece of paper tape and some scissors. We had to make the longest chain out of the stuff that we got given.What my team did is we cut long strips and every one would make even strips and we joined them together. Even if my team didn't win I still had a lot of fun. Then we did paper cups we had to stack paper cups in the formation of a pyramid and we had to do that without touching the cups. we got given a rubber band with string attached to it and six paper cups.What my team did we all held one end of the string and pulled on it towards yourself and the rubber band goes on the bottom of the cup and we would eventually stack all the cups. I think that all of my groups worked well with me we were cooperating well and communication to each other. For everyone

This is the first paragraph of my silent writing that I worked on with my friend Samantha, the name of the story is "The Girls Imagination". Her imagination is forcing her to create something that isn’t reality.She is loosing her breath and mind physically and mentally. She can’t stop her mind it’s too late she jumped off the rocky cliff edge her imagination is now her worst nightmare.She plunged into the surging water as she braced herself for the impact holding her breath she sees light as she got closer the bigger and louder it got it was like a strong force was pulling me she could no longer control herself she starts to loose her breath she knew straight away that she would never make it out alive, then all of a sudden she starts to float away from the hole.

Family Treasure This is my family treasure: My family treasure is a small book called Quotes For A Grandma.This book is very special to me because my grandma gave this to my dad when she passed away, so I keep this in memory of her since she passed away when I was 2 or 3. I don’t really remember her that much.I will keep this for hopefully my whole life that I'm alive to remember her.
