Here is an invitation I made on the website canva. Everyone has worked hard and been very creative in their projects, there is a major amount of diversity and uniqueness and I too am excited to see everyone's. The whole community is invited to look at all our work are you interested in seeing it?

P.B.L Planning Tempate

For the last few weeks we have been working on P.B.L. We got given a planning template and we would fill it out on how our project would go. I am working on it with my friend Gaby. In our project we are basing it on diseases and how they can often go a bit unnoticed. We are diving deep into research and looking at the affects of certain diseases and how we could prevent us from getting sick. If you are interested in knowing more about our P.B.L this term then here is a link to one of my blogs explaining it in more depth:  P.B.L Blog Here is our planning template we worked on:  Alexis & Gaby's P.B.L Planning Template What would you have chosen for your topic in P.B.L?

R.E Advertisement

Image
In the last week we have been working on an R.E advertisement we would choose a sacrament and make an advertisement on it. I chose to do it with my friend Gaby, we chose to do it on confirmation and on a poster with a video we made. Here is the link to the animation that was on the poster:  Confirmation Video Here is our finished product: If you made an advertisement what sacrament would you have chosen?

Science Experiment

Last week and a few weeks before we conducted our own science experiment. I did my science with my friend Gaby our question was: How do different ingredients effect the sweetness of a Hot Chocolate? We made different drinks with different sweetening agents and gave them to different ages and people. We then got them to rate the sweetness of each drink without them knowing which is which. Here is our scientific method:  Alexis & Gaby's Scientific Method What would you have done your science experiment on?

Volunteering Week

Image
This week we are going in and out of the classroom to volunteer. The options we had to volunteer was food bank, curtain bank and cleaning graffiti. The option I was in was curtain bank so what we did there was we measured and bagged curtains for the people who can't afford insulation for their house. We would measure the width and length of the curtain and if it was damages in any way at the bottom we would measure where to cut off. All the curtains were donated by generous people in Christchurch and the people who work at the curtain bank are volunteers. Have you ever been to the curtain bank before?
