Last week my hub went to camp! It was sooo fun and we did so many new activities like:  *Raft Build *S/L Orienteering *Search And Rescue *School Led Activity *Archery *Coasteering *High Ropes *Kayak Singles *Kayak Doubles *Out Door Living Something I have Learnt...  In camp is that in almost every activity working together s a crucial key, if it is from being in a team or just moving something heavy together with another person. Some skills I have learnt is basically how to live out doors e.g build a fire, shelter and how to find a lost person. I also learnt how to belay in high ropes. Something I Am Grateful For... Is to even be able to come to this camp and being able to spend time with my peers, teachers and instructors/parents. I am so grateful to have such amazing teachers and parents/instructors to organize and lead this camp so we as students can learn and have fun. On the 15th of August the primary teachers went on strike which means we have a day off while the teachers protest for more school time and less paperwork. My opinion on the teachers strike are mixed because it isn't fear that teachers have more paperwork and less time with students but the paperwork can also be important. Teachers work non stop and never really have a day off only if they are sick and even than as soon as they get better the start work straight away. Let's hope they get what they protested for. What are your thoughts on the primary teachers strike?

Hi and welcome back everyone. Last Friday we did the Caritas Challenge, the Caritas Challenge is when you live 24 hours like the people in Timor-Leste. During the day we did sporty activities/games non stop and we were always moving.  This is me and my friend Anabelle in one of the sessions Dance. Then as the day went on we started building our shelters out of cardboard we built these shelters from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Around 6:00 we had dinner.  Now was the fun part... at 7:00 when it started to get dark we got our torches out and started playing games in the dark with our torches like: spotlight, hide and seek, go home stay home and more running around. Once we had finished we went back up to the class room and did some reflection time in our books, which is the reflection below. After that we settled down and got ready for bed everyone went to the bathrooms and brushed our teeth then went back to our shelter. We got a little bit of time to chat then at around 9:30...

This term has been a great and fun term. My highlights of term 1 are: Tech Science Drama Art Banqer ............................................................................................................ Because all of them teach me stuff I didn't know and they do it in a fun way. Like in science I was learning about animal communication and I learnt that bees communicate through dancing and we got to act it out. ............................................................................................................ My low lights  for term 1 are: Honestly  I don't have any that's how good this term has been. ............................................................................................................ My goals for term 2 are... To be confident with speaking to a large group. To improve in my math (eg strategies.) Read at least 7 books in one term at home and/or School.
