Hi, guys welcome back. Lately, I have been working on my digital project which is writing a story and presenting it. We also had to write a blurb about what story we chose. Our stories have been based on N.Z. history going from pre 1840s-Now. My story that I have chosen was the Ballantyne's Fire. I have used sketch noting which is where you sketch doodles of your story and take a picture then add it to a slide or doc. Here is my finished product on the story of the Ballantyne's fire. Have you ever learned about NZ history?
Hi guys welcome back today I am going to be talking about Life Education. Life Education is a big truck that comes round different schools to teach the different year levels new things. My class, the Year 7/8s, were learning about different learning styles and personalities. In the first session we got into groups according to our learning style by giving us a few tests and we would go to a certain space in the room and we did a few puzzles and games along the way. After we found out what each group was she put a different animal for each group. There was : The Beavers, The Otters, The Labradors and The Lions. The Beavers were the smart thinkers. They like working in quiet places, likes to plan and does not like noisy places. The Otters are the quick thinkers they like to have fun and are some times noisy. The Labradors: They are the alert thinkers they are smart and think fast. They are also like a peace keeper in a gr...
We have started to do our science this is my science. I am doing my science experiment with Phoebe. Science Question: How does the ratio of Gelatin to the other ingredients affect the marshmallow ? Background Research When you add the gelatin to hot water the powder dissolves and you break the bonds that holds the proteins together. When the gelatin cools down the gelatin powder forms new bonds in the water. Hypothesis The increase of gelatin the stiffer the marshmallow and the decrease of gelatin the crumblier and stickier the marshmallow will be. My next step for science is writing the method and materials. Have you ever done a science experiment?
