For the last few weeks our learning focus for writing has been to write an summary about a article. There was different articles like Fair Chocolate, Wild Boy, Paint The Town and more we got given the article depending on what workshop you signed yourselves up too. Here is my summary about Fair Chocolate. Fair Chocolate In Christchurch 1973 Ewan Cameron works at a fair trade company. He is part of a team that helps set up the company's new chocolate factory and he helps with budgeting. The company has the same goal as any other businesses to make money. Ewan does not work for profit so meaning the money they make goes to the less fortunate like third world countries, homeless people or sick instead of the owners or shareholder using the money for other uses. This company care about the welfare of the people so this is why fair-trade companies when trading instead of trying to find a bargain they pay the full price of their ingredients. For R.E we created a bumper sticker with an inspiring quote on it to be like Jesus this is my bumper sticker. In R.E we are focusing on what is happening in South Sudan we would brainstorm ways we could help South Sudan like: -Donating food -Donating house supplies -Donating money Have you ever made a bumper sticker?

Last week we worked in out house colour groups and deigned a t-shirt there will be one winning design.. Teachers or peer mediators can give out little cards with their name on it if they were doing something kind. The kids then put it in a jar in out office and at assembly if their name get's pulled out then they win a t-shirt. Here is my group's t-shirt: Have you ever designed a T-shirt before?

For the last two weeks we have been working on our art. What we had to do is print out a picture of us and stick it to a piece of paper. Then we had to draw traits about ourselves coming from our head. Here is mine: In each section there is a word in mine there is: Creativity, Passion, Responsible and kind. Have your ever done art like this?

The last two weeks we have been having swimming lessons everyday at QE2. We go in home base groups and I am in home base 1 so I go first to swimming at about 9:30 in the morning. There are usually three groups of swimming and I am in the middle group. This week we are going to do water safety on boats and Pyjama day. Whens the last time you went swimming?
